today in class we took a test on the two separate Korea's.

Class of 1/10/11

Kim Jung Ill is the leader and Kim Ill Sung is his father, and used to be the leader

When Kim Ill Sung was the leader he invaded South Korea and wanted it all to be the same and that didn’t work for South Korea because North Korea is communist. Then the United States helped South Korea in the Korean war, and no one won that war because everyone just stopped firing cause over 4 million people died.

The border between the North and South Korea is on the 38th parallel

The 38th parallel where the border is was made in 1945 and it is almost exactly where we are on the other side of the world.

South Korea's economy is very good because of there employment rate and  trading, and North Korea's economy isn't very good because they don’t share with people and the employment rate isn't very good

Class of 1/7/11

In Fridays class we continued watching the movie about the Two Koreas. In the movie we watched a doctor do over one thousand eye surgeries in a week, and it was amazing.

Today in class we continued learning about the separation of North and South Korea and we started watching a movie about each of the two countries.

First Day Back From Break

Today in class we started a new section and instead of Asia we are now learning about Korea and the Differences between North and South Korea.

Last Day of 2010

Today in class we through a party and had a lot of junk food and listened to a bunch of music. We also watched Darryn and Mr. Schick rap to each other, it was a fun class.
